Organizations fail when they don't have consciously architected human systems around their business.

I've worked as a HR Leader in a variety of industries including retail, technology and manufacturing. I have extensive experience delivering Talent Strategy, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, for global organizations like Amazon.

What I write here isn't theory. It's what I've seen work, what I've watched fail, and the frameworks I've built along the way. My goal is to give HR leaders, founders, and people managers the practitioner's lens that most can't offer.

Ideas I discuss
01

People Architecture

Org design, role clarity, decision rights, reporting structures. The structural choices that determine outcomes before culture gets a chance.

02

Culture Under Pressure

What actually holds when stakes are high and timelines compress. Insights on what resilience really looks like.

03

The Human OS

Hiring, performance management, retention, and leadership behaviors that compound over time.

What
I'm
Doing

A living snapshot of what's occupying my attention.

Working On
The People OS Framework
Drafting a comprehensive guide to people architecture — the practitioner's handbook I wish had existed when I started.
HRBP craft at Amazon
Redefining leadership needs for a region, deep in org design work, building forward looking capability, and the architecture of teams in a fast-moving environment.
Reading
Joyful
Ingrid Fetell Lee. Exploring how design instills joy. Slower than expected — which means it's probably more important than I expected.
Working Backwards
Colin Bryar & Bill Carr. Re-reading with different eyes after years inside Amazon's mechanisms.
Thinking About
What AI changes
Not the hype version. The nuts and bolts of capabilities an evolving workforce needs.
The cost of ambiguity
How fragmented ownership quietly destroys high-performance teams — and how few leaders can actually diagnose it.
